Dubai ( Latest News - Pakistan): In the latest ICC rankings, Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed has become the world's number one T20 bowler, while several other Pakistani players have also seen significant improvements in their positions.
Abrar Ahmed topped the rankings with 736 rating points, displacing Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, who has now slipped to second place.
Australia's Adam Zampa moved up one spot to third place.
Among other Pakistani bowlers, Mohammad Nawaz retained the eighth position with 658 points, while Salman Mirza dropped one place to 18th with 636 points.
Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi also dropped one spot to 33rd place with 602 points.
Meanwhile, Usman Tariq made notable progress, climbing two places to 57th with 524 points, while Sufiyan Muqeem rose one spot to 63rd with 510 points.
Pakistani batter Saim Ayub moved up one place to 71st with 492 points, while Shadab Khan maintained his 77th position with 485 points.
Haris Rauf climbed two places to reach the 86th spot with 448 rating points. In the T20 batter rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan retains the third spot with 848 rating points, while India's Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma hold the top two positions, respectively.
Another Pakistani opener, Saim Ayub, climbed two places to reach the 39th spot with 560 points, while former white-ball captain Babar Azam also moved up two places to 41st position with 555 points.
T20 captain Salman Ali Agha maintained his 45th position with 547 points, while Fakhar Zaman remained at number 72 with 481 points. Load More
