Islamabad (Pakistan Point News) Security agencies have achieved great success in the case of martyring Group Captain Asim Tariq of the Pakistan Air Force after he tried to forcibly abduct a woman at Shaheen Chowk within the limits of Margalla Police Station in the federal capital Islamabad. According to media reports, after killing a senior Air Force officer by firing in public at Shaheen Chowk, the accused Saad managed to escape from the scene along with his bike. Margalla Police Station immediately after the incident, cordoned off the area and raided with the help of modern technical means and arrested the accused Saad, who is being investigated in connection with the incident.
It is worth noting that this sad incident took place in Shaheen Chowk opposite Air University and Bahria University, where accused Saad was forcibly making a girl identified as Nimra sit on his motorcycle. When Group Captain Asim Tariq, son of Muhammad Tariq, of the Pakistan Air Force, who was passing by, intervened and tried to rescue the girl, accused Saad got angry and opened fire on him with a pistol, killing him on the spot.
It is being told that immediately after the incident, the Additional SHO and Duty Officer of Margalla Police Station reached the spot and took the girl into their custody and shifted the body of Group Captain to PAF Hospital Unit 2. Now, after the arrest of the main accused Saad, the police are fulfilling all the legal requirements of the case in the light of the statements of both the parties and CCTV footage so that the accused can be given the strictest punishment.

Details regarding the accused boy and girl have come to light during the police investigation into the high-profile case of the martyrdom of Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim Tariq by firing at Shaheen Chowk in Islamabad. IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held a detailed press conference on the seriousness of the incident and put the background facts before the public.
IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said in the press conference that the main accused in the shooting, Saad Abbasi, is a resident of Khanna area of the federal capital, while the victim girl lives in Ghauri Town. Both these youths used to work in the same Cash and Carry located in Melody area and were already acquainted with each other. Both of them often used to come and go to work together on a motorcycle.
The preliminary investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, the boy was possessed by a demon, so instead of going to work, the accused Saad Abbasi tried to take the girl to a park or somewhere else, but the girl flatly refused to go with him and asked to go to the store instead of work, which led to a heated argument between the two and a fight broke out, after which the accused tried to forcefully take the girl with him.
He said that when this fight was going on, Group Captain Asim Tariq of the Pakistan Air Force was passing by. Seeing the fight on the road, he, acting as a responsible citizen and protector, tried to mediate between the two parties and save the girl. On this intervention, the accused Saad Abbasi got angry and took out a pistol and shot Group Captain Asim Tariq, killing him.
The IG Islamabad said in a press conference that the police have arrested the accused Saad Abbasi and the girl Nimra is also being interrogated. All scientific and documentary evidence related to the incident is being collected and a more in-depth investigation of the case is underway so that the accused is given the strictest punishment according to the law.
